Strengthening conservation through environmental water services
Water is essential for life and everyone has the right to access it. From this perspective the project seeks to generate economic incentives in a priority water generation zone in Santa Cruz.
The basic principle is that suppliers of environmental services should be compensated fairly for turning their land into conservation areas and/or carrying out activities that do not involve cutting down forests.
Productive measures would neutralize effects of the Climate change
Strategy: Producers, environmentalists, veterinarians and specialists design a strategy against the threats of the greenhouse effect.
Santa Cruz, 13 of abril. - The Foundation Friends of the Nature (FAN) and the Departmental Autonomous Government of Santa Cruz organize the Seminar Workshop Challenges and challenges opposite to the Climate change and the strategy of Field schools " across the Pilot Departmental Program of Adjustment to the Climate change (PPDACC), which has the intention of preparing the small producers to using different strategies, to offset the negative effects of the greenhouse effect in the agricultural and cattle production.
